Getting married abroad is a super EXCITING and a MAGICAL experience – but it can bring its own challenges when you’re trying to organise the finer details such as your make-up and hair, particularly when language barriers mean that details can get lost in translation. So far I have travelled to Mauritius, Zante, Amsterdam and Sorrento to do make-up for destination brides.
Whether you’re getting married on a white sandy BEACH or on a snow-capped MOUNTAIN, I will travel to your chosen destination as your personal make-up artist to ensure that you get the EXACT make-up look that you desire – making you feel confident, relaxed and looking RADIANT on your wedding day.
I will come armed with all the best make-up PRODUCTS and use the best TECHNIQUES to keep your make-up looking FRESH ALL DAY LONG in all types of climates. I will also be ON HAND all day for touch-ups so that you look FABULOUS for the whole day and in all your photos.
If you are looking for a HAIR STYLIST to complete your look, I have a huge black book of talented stylists who will also travel to your wedding destination and take away the stress of trying to convey your ideas to a local stylist. I can also recommend some fabulous destination wedding PHOTOGRAPHERS who I have worked with in the past and who will perfectly capture every element of your wedding abroad. Your destination wedding make-up trial will take place in my studio in York. This 2-hour session is an ESSENTIAL part of the process, making you feel 100% HAPPY with your bridal make-up look. It’s also a great opportunity for us to have a CHAT, a CUPPA and to get to know each other a bit better. During this session, I will give you some of my TOP TIPS for looking after your skin in the lead-up to your wedding and during the flight to ensure that your skin is GLOWING on your special day.
My main aim during the trial is to make you feel TOTALLY CONFIDENT with your make-up look – safe in the knowledge that I can recreate this exact look on your wedding day so that you can RELAX and enjoy your bridal preparations with ZERO STRESS!
Trials can also be arranged for other members of the destination wedding BRIDAL PARTY as required, including mothers of the bride and bridesmaids. I can also help to schedule styling TIMINGS on the morning of your wedding, so that you can sit back and simply ENJOY THE MOMENT!
